Keep Food Cool Even in the Hottest Kitchens

Storing food at the proper temperature—above the Danger Zone, 135 degrees Fahrenheit to 41 degrees Fahrenheit—is a key concern among food retail and foodservice operations. This can be a challenge, given the hot temperatures inside the typical kitchen.

Traulsen full-size undercounter refrigerators and freezers with the INTELA-TRAUL® microprocessor maintains interior temperatures—from 0 degrees Fahrenheit to -5 degrees Fahrenheit in the freezer and 34 degrees Fahrenheit to 38 degrees Fahrenheit in the refrigerator—no matter how hot it gets in the kitchen. These undercounters are equipped with NAFEM Data Protocol capabilities, allowing operators to monitor and record temperatures and other data through a central server or PC network. Since they are undercounter units, they also save much-needed kitchen space.

No two kitchens are alike, and Traulsen undercounters are flexible enough to meet changing storage needs. They offer maximum storage space, with capacity ranging from 8.6 cubic feet up to 28.9 cubic feet. Each door has two chrome-plated wire shelves mounted on shelf pins, and optional tray slides are also available and can be used in combination with or instead of shelves to accommodate sheet pans ranging from 18 inches by 26 inches to 14 inches by 18 inches.
