Water-softening Solutions Help Prolong The Life of Kitchen Equipment
Print Friendly

Hobart has introduced three new non-electric water softeners: the WS-C206, WS-C208 and WS-P213. All are high-temperature compatible and provide a continuous supply of soft water while lowering utility costs. Designed to provide the softest water possible, the twin-tank water softeners are non-electric and help ensure there is a continuous supply of softer water due to countercurrent regeneration capabilities. The only maintenance needed is to periodically check the salt level and refill when necessary.

By virtually eliminating the scale buildup caused by calcium and magnesium in hard water, Hobart water softeners increase both the life and efficiency of equipment.

The durable, compact WS-C206 and WS-C208 water softeners are designed to fit easily in a kitchen. Offering high-flow rates of up to 16 gpm (gallons per minute), both models have high-temperature compatibility (up to 150 degrees Fahrenheit). The WS-P213 is for larger operations. It offers a maximum flow of 40 gpm in an overdrive design or can be configured for maximum efficiency.
