In the year 2002 Hobart incorporated Traulsen Refrigeration as its division. This consolidation brought together the two preferred brands in the foodservice industry – Hobart’s warewashing, food machines, and cooking and Traulsen’s refrigeration. Such combination allows for broadening the product offering, and it supports Hobart-Traulsen's common effort of leading the high quality food equipment market.
