USDA New Mandatory Nutrition-Labeling Rule

As part of Hobart’s ongoing customer support, we wanted to provide insight into the USDA’s new labeling requirements, which go into effect Jan. 1, 2012. Grocers must display nutritional information on certain meat and poultry product packaging. However, as most grocers know, covering products with multiple or larger labels can conceal product quality and hurt sales.
