Hobart’s bakery division is supporting sustainability initiatives at some of the nation’s largest retailers. We recently teamed with a leading chain to reduce the energy consumption of their new Hobart rack ovens by up to 15 percent.
For units already in the field, our updated package has been shown to provide savings on energy use of between 5 and 10 percent. Another design refinement has reduced the energy requirements of Hobart proofers. In many cases, these changes mean Hobart ovens qualify for energy company rebates, which accelerates your payback on your investment. But even greater savings come from their long-term lower cost of operation.
