Hobart Highlights New Spiral Mixer, Baxter Baking Products During International Pizza Expo® 2009

At the International Pizza Expo® 2009 in Las Vegas March 10-12, 2009, Hobart is showcasing two new spiral mixers and the AM Select door-type warewasher, Baxter baking products, and Traulsen refrigeration at booth #341. For the fourth consecutive year, Hobart is also giving away a one-of-a kind, custom-painted “Pisa Edition” 60-quart Hobart Legacy® mixer (model HL662) with bowl and dough hook. Additionally, Hobart continues to sponsor the World Pizza Games.

Hobart’s new HSL180 and HSL220 spiral mixers, available in 180-lb. and 220-lb. models, combine the consistent speeds and mixes Hobart is known for with Hobart’s legendary longevity. The mixers are specifically designed, with carefully controlled oxidation, for the superior dough needs of the pizza industry. Hobart also continues to receive interest in the most popular and relied upon planetary mixer in the industry—the Legacy HL662 pizza mixer.

Hobart continues to showcase the ENERGY STAR® qualified AM Select warewasher. It not only cleans and sanitizes dishware, but is also NSF Certified for heavily soiled ware, including pots and pans.

Hobart is now representing the Baxter brand of baking products, including Baxter Deck Ovens, which combine specially designed heating elements with high-quality atmospheric steam to deliver the exact finish operators want. Baxter Deck Ovens are versatile, providing independent settings to separately heat the top and bottom of each deck as well as allow for the separate operation of each deck.

Also on display is Traulsen’s affordable G-Series, which includes the addition of hot-food holding cabinets to complete the line of refrigerators and freezers. ENERGY STAR qualified solid-door models can save up to 45 percent a year in energy costs.
