Troy, OH , June 21, 2010 // Hobart today announced a program to auction uniquely painted vintage
mixers to raise money for the Careers through Culinary Arts Program
(C-CAP). This initiative is part of Hobart’s “Mixed Up Jake” campaign,
a social media program that features Jake Murphy, a character created
by Hobart, to creatively engage those who are passionate about Hobart
mixers. The program is designed to not only foster the generous
donation of funds for C-CAP, but also encourages this culinary
community to interact, share ideas, participate in future contests and
eventually, create their own original mixer designs. All of the
proceeds from auctioning off Jake’s custom painted vintage mixers will
benefit C-CAP.
