Hobart Introduces New Food Processor Cutting Tools

TROY, Ohio (September 17, 2026) –  Hobart, the premium commercial food equipment manufacturer known for designing and building some of the most reliable, must-have equipment, has introduced two new cutting tools for its food processor lineup: a 2mm serrated slicer and a 6mm soft slicer. The company has also introduced a dice grid cleaner to simplify cleanup after processing.

The 2mm serrated slicer is designed to produce thin, consistent slices of cured meats, including pepperoni, helping pizza kitchens and delis improve efficiency and achieve consistent results.

The 6mm soft slicer tool delivers clean, consistent cuts for a variety of soft produce, such as strawberries and tomatoes, and can be used in combination with the appropriate Hobart dicing grid to offer uniform dicing of ingredients.

"As with all of the cutting tools for our food processors, our customers can depend on these newest blades to provide consistent, high-quality cuts,” said Ashley Shepherd, product line manager, Hobart Food Prep Equipment. “Our machines and cutting tools maximize labor in the kitchen and improve productivity, while also helping operators to create great menu items.”

The new cutting tools fit the Hobart countertop continuous-feed food processor offering, which can process 11 to 26 pounds of ingredients per minute, as well as the company’s two floor models that can process 88 or 132 pounds per minute. The cutting tools are also usable with  Centerline™ by Hobart combination food processors.

The new dice grid cleaner can be used with 7/32-, 9/32-, and 3/8-inch Hobart dice grids, helping operators remove food remnants more easily and streamline cleanup between processing tasks.

These additions expand Hobart’s food processor cutting-tool offering, which also includes a 5/32-inch chicken cutting tool for select Hobart countertop and floor-model continuous-feed food processors, as well as a 3/8-inch French fry cutting tool for processing white and red potatoes.
