LXnR Two-Level Undercounter Dishmachine Recognized in the Prestigious 2023 Kitchen Innovations Awards

TROY, Ohio (April 5,  2023) — Hobart is pleased to announce that its LXnR Two-Level Undercounter Commercial Dishmachine is a featured recipient of the 2023 Kitchen Innovations® (KI) Awards. It will be showcased at the National Restaurant Association Show (NRA Show), May 20 to 23, at McCormick Place in Chicago. The KI Awards celebrate cutting-edge equipment making a measurable impact on the foodservice industry.

The new Hobart LXnR has the fastest undercounter throughput in the industry, allowing foodservice outlets constrained by labor challenges to clean more ware in less time. The LXnR is the only NSF-certified two-level racking solution with an industry-exclusive rack design that increases throughput while reducing water and energy consumption. Decreasing the number of daily wash cycles has been calculated to save up to 1,100 kWh in energy annually, along with a reduction in annual operating costs of up to $450 per machine.

Hobart designed the two-level racking system with a molded rack guide and wire rack equipped to fit bowls, plates and utensils. The rack can be removed easily, making it simple for operators to load larger items, such as a full-size sheet pan or mixing bowl, into the 17-inch opening. To help track the dishmachine’s activity, the LXnR comes standard with the Hobart SmartConnect App. This app informs operators of sanitization performance, allows them to analyze usage and consumption costs, and notifies them of critical events by email.
