ITW Food Equipment Group to Showcase New Products & Live Cooking at the National Restaurant Association Show 2025

GLENVIEW, Illinois (April 30, 2025) – ITW Food Equipment Group is attending the National Restaurant Association (NRA) Show, May 17 to 20. The group’s premier brands, including Hobart, Baxter, Traulsen and Vulcan with share booth 4031 at McCormick Place in Chicago. Attendees are invited to visit the booth to see equipment innovations designed to help foodservice professionals streamline and improve their kitchen operations, as well as to see live cooking demonstrations. 

In addition to a central prep area and live cooking demonstrations by the Vulcan and Baxter Culinary team, there will be a commercial kitchen corner featuring a comprehensive lineup of products from the family of brands. There will also be a dishroom area showcasing a complete offering of dishmachines to support the needs of any size kitchen operation. In addition, the booth will feature the brands’ most affordable line of products, including Centerline food prep, refrigeration and dishwashing equipment and the new CS500 rotating rack oven from Baxter.

Vulcan will showcase its new combi ovenChef’sCombi™. Vulcan designed the Chef’s Combi with a customizable home screen to improve the user experience and sensor-enabled precise humidity control for high-quality, best-in-class performance. Chef’sCombi is competitively priced, stackable and available in gas and electric models in 61, 101, 62 and 102 sizes. Vulcan will also feature the MOD suite — a cooking island suite with an H frame and modularity-integrated design — showcasing Vulcan’s cooking suite solutions and expertise. Alongside these new additions, Vulcan will showcase pieces from its full line of equipment, including ranges, ovens, griddles, charbroilers, fryers and braising pans.

Traulsen is excited to showcase its R Series refrigerator/freezers with new Dynamic Response Refrigeration™ (DRR) with Smart Control™— technology that received the 2025 Kitchen Innovations (KI) Award from the National Restaurant Show. The product will also be featured in the dedicated KI Showroom during the event at booth 4098. DRR technology helps kitchens enhance efficiency and streamline kitchen operations. It provides superior performance and operational savings by adapting refrigeration to a specific operating environment through patented software, engineered system components and an energy efficient variable speed compressor. DRR is available for multiple sizes and configurations of its R Series refrigerator and freezers and reduces energy consumption by approximately 40% (varies by model) and noise by approximately 30%. It also meets ENERGY STAR 5.0 standards, making it a sustainable choice for kitchens. 

Hobart Food Prep Equipment will have Centerline by Hobart food processors and mixers on display. The new CCH32 two-speed and CCH34 four-speed combination food processors are capable of bowl-style or continuous-feed operation for cutting, mixing and emulsifying. The CCH34 is compatible with a dicing grid to dice fruits and vegetables. Both food processors feature a SureSense™ speed control that identifies which processor head — the bowl or chute — is installed and automatically adjusts the speed for optimal processing. Hobart will also showcase its new Centerline by Hobart HMM30 30-quart standard heavy-duty mixer, launching later in 2025. This mixer joins an offering that includes 10- and 20-quart mixer models.

Hobart Commercial Dishwashers will feature the new PWn Advansys™ Prep Washers at the show. These washers have the capacity to wash up to 200 sheet pans (PW10 model) or 400 sheet pans (PW20 model) per hour. Featuring a Ventless Energy Recovery and Complete Delime™ with Booster Guard™ technology, the machines reduce the time and effort of deliming, while also efficiently deliming the booster. Hobart offers these technologies on the AM16 Door Type Dishwasher and the new CL Rack Conveyor Dishwasher, which will also be on display.  

Baxter will be launching its new single CS500 rotating rack oven — an affordable solution for users’ baking needs. In addition to its newest oven, Baxter will also showcase its OV520 rotating double rack oven and the compact OV320 mini rotating rack oven. Both models are equipped with intuitive, programmable Smart Touch controls and offer enhanced energy efficiency, self-diagnostics, and built-in operator training to help improve productivity and profitability. The OV320 is especially well-suited for kitchens seeking a versatile, space-saving and ergonomic solution.

Hobart Service & Genuine Parts will have representatives at the booth to answer questions and provide visitors with solutions to reduce downtime and costs through service plans and preventive maintenance. The Hobart Genuine Parts team will showcase its SOLUTIONS catalogs, a valuable resource brimming with newly designed kits engineered to streamline kitchen operations. A select few of these kits will be on display, and representatives will be on-site to discuss these and other solutions that provide in-house maintenance staff with the tools they need to keep their restaurants up and running.
